My favourite toy - Aeroplane

My favourite toy is an aeroplane.
It works with the remote control.
It is small.
Its colours are blue and yellow.
It is made of plastic.
It was a present from my father for my birthday.
I keep it in a big box.
I play with it after school.

Weight

In the topic of weight we explored which objects are heavier or lighter than 1kg by actually weighing them on the scale. Then we did some exercises on the the interactive whiteboard using the i-learn maths program; we sorted which objects are heavier and which are lighter than 1kg. We also used the interactive weights to make up different amounts on the scale. Here are some photos of our activities.

Checking if Jean Paul is heavier or lighter than 1kg :-)

Push and Pull

In our Science lesson we explored pushing and pulling. We now know that when we push we're moving something away from us and when we pull we are moving something towards us.

Below are some exercises which can help you identify where a push or a pull is being done.
