Fractions

A fraction is a part of a whole.
The number at the bottom shows in how many parts the object is divided.
The number at the top shows the number of parts which are shaded.

A quarter is
one part out of 4.

2 quarters make up a half

Here are some websites which give further explanation about fractions as well as games to test how much you really know about fractions :-)

I am also including these videos to provide further support.

Road Safety

Recently we had a talk from the Health & Safety team about staying safe on the road. Children participated actively in the discussion and gave insightful tips on the topic. As a follow up we drew a poster illustrating ways and means of how to stay safe on the road. Here is some of our work.
